The band was formed in mid-July 1994 by Fernando (vocals) and Evaldo (guitars). After a lot of time playing, Drowned took a holiday from January to December 1997, because of some trouble with the line-up. IN this manner the band has returned to its activities since 1998, with Fernando (vocals), Thiago and Marcos (guitars), Rodrigo (bass) and Beto (drums).

In December 1998, the band recorded its first demo, called ''Where Dark And Light Divide...''. It includes 3 songs in which power and melody are the main features.

Nowadays, Drowned wanna divulge its work worldwide, through specialized media, and above all, the concerts...
